The Law of the MIND: A Changed Mind!

The Law of the MIND
Mental Thoughts, Intentions, Needs, & Destiny
First things first…Let's get a working definition of the Law of the Mind!
The Mind is defined as being the conscious being. The element, part, substance, or process that reasons, thinks, feels, wills, perceives, and judges. The mind is a process of thoughts.
The mind is the totality of conscious and unconscious mental processes and activities. It is the intellect or understanding, as distinguished from the faculties of feeling and willing. It is one's intelligence.
The mind is that part of a human being that thinks, feels, and wills, as contrasted with body.  The intellect of the mind is reasoning power as distinguished from feeling.
This series will tackle the Law of the Mind. What is the LAW? The word Law is defined as Law: the principles and regulations established in whether in the form of custom and policies recognized and enforced by mental decision. The law as it relates to the mind is the positive rule or collection of rules prescribed under the authority of God.  The Law of the mind is the state one's views authoritatively.
The Law of the Mind is the principles established by mental decisions that are under the authority of God as it relates to one's thoughts, feelings, judgments, and divine will and destiny!
We were first created by and through the mind of God. First, you were a thought in the mind of God.  The word thought means to have belief, hope, expectation, and creativity.  In the beginning, before you were even in your mother's womb, God had a thought about you even before He created you.  He was inspired to have belief, hope, and expectation as to how you would turn out.  The first chapter of Genesis discusses how when God made everything, He said, "It is Good!"  When God just thought about you, He said, "You are Good!"  When something is good it is better than average; it is desirable, excellent and of high quality.  My sister and brother, you are a Good Thing!
The state of the mind.  The mind is the central part of who you are. The Bible declares, "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7).  Thoughts are the dominating force in your being and in who you are becoming. The thoughts of today actually carve out your path for tomorrow.
A Changed Mind:
We as human beings have the unique opportunity to make a change every day. The opportunity to change is made by decisions. We can change or decided to change what we wear, where we live, who we associate with, etc… You are tired of the thoughts that box you and God in. You are tired of the depression, the approval addiction, and all the other things that are causing you to live a life that is beneath your godly inheritance.
Believe it or not, the first thing that has to change in order or there to be a difference in your life is your MIND (your daily thoughts). Thoughts are powerful because they can build or they can be destructive. They can cause you to [pursue or cause you to coward away in fear. Today, I want to help you have a change of mind in your daily thoughts.
"The thoughts of today actually carve out your path for tomorrow."
First, change is a mindset.  What are you talking about?  It is all about what you think and what you speak that determines your life and destiny. "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7).  What you dwell upon, you will become.  Therefore, if the past has you in the grips of its despair and this is your focus, then all you will ever see, have, or possess is the past. What you place your focus on will become the very thing that drives you, and whatever drives you determines where and which way you are going.
So, if you don't like where you are going, change the driver's seat in your mind.  What you think determines what you say. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:20, "A man's stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled."  If you truly had to live, be filled, and satisfied in life based on what you thought and said every day, what type of life would you live?  If everything was based solely on your thoughts and words, what would the world around you be like?
Imagine you are about to move into your dream house.  Right now, you are taking inventory of everything that is in your old house (the old season/mindset), because you know you don't want to carry the old over into the new.  You begin to trash the things that are useless and keep the things that are beneficial.
I want you to think of your new house as your new mind, the new thoughts and the new vision that you have for your life.  Just like in the analogy of moving from the old house, some things cannot make the new home beautiful or rather, they do not go with the new décor.  Your old mindset does not go with the new décor of what the Lord is trying to do in your life.
"What you allow to invade your mind will determine the territory that you will possess."
Don't allow your mind to think anything that you don't want to possess in this season.  In this season, your thoughts are seeds for your upcoming harvest.  You are a farmer; your seeds are your thoughts, words, and whatsoever you think and say will come up in the next season as your Harvest.  Today is your day of change.
Step 1: Change Your Thoughts and Words, then Your Situation will Change.  A New Beginning starts in the mind.  You have to make your mind up right now that you are not going to live this way anymore.  All you need to do is just turn around and change the direction of your mind and thoughts.  The first step is to speak positively about your life, which will then help you to speak joy and blessings into the lives of others.
What are you dwelling upon now?  Because whatever has your mind and your focus has control of you, and you are therefore yielding power to that very thing.  If you are focused and set on achieving your goals and becoming all that you can, then you are yielding yourself to success.  On the other hand, if you focus on failures and bad things, then you will have those things in life.  What you think drives the laws of attraction.  What you think really does attract those things into your life.  Your thoughts entice and draw to you what you will have.
You entertain a thought about something, and thereby you literally send out a signal saying, "I want this to come into my life."  However, some things do occur in our lives just because there are things that we will go through.  It is obvious that the very things you have thought about happening in your life actually begin to manifest.  Old thinking cannot work for new things; the old can't produce the new!
"If you don't want it, then don't think about it!"
Change begins as just a thought in your mind, grows into a desire in your heart, and finally manifests outwardly after you surrender.  "Do not be Conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind daily" (Romans 12:2). Be of one mind; don't allow life to make you double minded (James 1:8). It is not what you go through, but what you learn while you go through it, and how you set your mind to go through it.  Get out of the mindset that boxes God in.
"Your happiness is a mindset; it all begins with your daily thoughts and focus."
