A New Year & A New You! A New Mind & Attitude!

A New Year & A New You!
This is Your LEAP YEAR!
A New Mind & Attitude!

Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past. "Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert" (Isaiah 43:18-19 NASB).

The first step to walking into your Total Revolution is to change your mind set. The scripture says not to call into mind the former things. What are the former things? The former things are the things that are no more and no longer.  No more a part of you, no longer good for you, no longer beneficial to you, and no longer needed in your life. The former is the season of the "No More!"

"Strip yourselves of your former nature/conduct [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; 23And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude], 24And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God's image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness" (Ephesians 4:22-24 AMP).

If you are to walk into your New Year (time/season) and become a New You, then you have to strip (put off) your former nature and conduct. Meaning, you can no longer live and do what you used to do and think it is ok, or that you will warrant a different result that will make you blessed by doing the same thing.

In a revolution, there has to be change, and change only comes from letting go of the former. The former you is the un-renewed you. The former things are the things that are not new. You don't need stale in your life right now, you need the new. May it be a new beginning, a new job, a new house, a new car, or a new lease on life; it cannot come to pass in the state of a former mind set. Things become new when your mind becomes new. The New You starts in a New Mind!

I know for a moment in your life things were looking unfavorable, torn-down, and in utter ruins, but God is about to regenerate you and you will rebuild, restore, renew, regroup, revive into a more favorable state. The Regeneration of the Lord is igniting your Revolution into becoming the Total Person.
Now back to our steps of walking into The Total Revolution in our original scripture text in Isaiah 43. Step #2 in walking into your Total Revolution is not to "ponder the past" (Isaiah 43:18). Many would say at this juncture, aren't the former and the past the same thing?
The former aspect of your life was the mind set (conduct/nature). However, the past relates to the time and things that transpired in your life. The word Past is defined as gone by or elapsed in time, of, having existed in, or having occurred during a time previous to the present. The past is a bygone, having formerly been or served as previous or earlier. The past is the history of a person, the earlier period of someone's life. The past is no longer current or relevant as it relates to your New Year, the New You, and your Total Revolution.
The past can further be defined as a former period of someone's life kept secret or thought to be shameful. This traps you into believing the notion of that which has already been is all that there is ever going to be. The past is simply that, it is that which has already happened. Your past is over, and you are called now to regenerate in order to have a revolution. Until, you release your past, you will never be able to unleash your future. If you let your past live, your future will die!
"I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us" (Philippians 3:13-14 NLT). Paul had a true concept of not being bound by his past in that he said his focus would not be on that, which has already occurred, but rather the new life that was to come for him. Paul only consulted his past in order to use it as a testimony. We are called to recall the past in that way, but not in order to allow it to thrive now and destroy our hope of a new life.

A New Year & A New You!
This is Your LEAP YEAR!

The Year 2012 means Divine Perfection, Order, Blessings, Overflow, Governmental Order, and Destiny! This year is also a year of the Redemption of time. This year has 366 days, one more than normal, and this only happens every seven years. God is giving you time back in this year, and he is doing something unusual, and it is going to bring forth completion in your life!

This is a Year of Power, Prosperity, & Purpose!

This is Your EVERYTHING SEASON (Ecclesiastes 3). This year is the year in which you will realize that God is not slack concerning His promises (2 Peter 3:9). There is not going to be just a thing, one thing, or something that will transpire this year, but this is your EVERYTHING Year! All that you have prayed and waited on is coming to pass in this year. You had to have hell in 2011 because God had to test to see what was in your heart before He gave you His Promised Land/Territory (Deuteronomy 8).
The word LEAP means to spring through the air from one point or position to another; to jump. To LEAP means to move or act quickly or suddenly. LEAP: To rise, to jump over, and to pass over as if by a jump.
I make this LEAP DECLARATION Over Your Life:
You will spring forth from one point and position to another this year. You will move suddenly, you will jump, and rise/soar above everything. You will surpass all setbacks and adversities this year! There is not a wall (barrier) that you will not be able to Leap over!

"For by You I can run against a troop; By my God I can Leap over a wall"

You will not be able to LEAP until you OBEY! You have to obey before you see it. Just because you heard God tell you to do it, then you need to do it (John 2:25)!

"He [Jesus] replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it"
(Luke 11:28).

If you can hear it, believe it, then you will have it! You will only see it (your promise) once you have heard and obeyed it (the word). God is Going to Maximize You Because You Magnified Him! You are blessed not because of blessings (things), but because of Obedience! Obedience makes you blessed and allows you to stay blessed!
This is Not just another Year, but a New You. Not just the same old thing again, but New. If you are going to be a New Person of Purpose, then you must be aware of what God is doing in your life. What is God doing? He is doing a New Thing.

"Happy New Year!" Year is defined as the period of time that is devoted to a certain pursuit, activity, or the like. The year as it relates to your life is also the time in which something has to have a complete Revolution. A Revolution is defined as a radical, sudden, momentous, and complete change. A revolution is turning around of sorts, a course, which involves movement. No matter where you find yourself right now, no matter the place, time, situation, or relationship, you are embarking upon a Revolution.

The Year of your life (the time) is about to shift in such a way that you can't even imagine. You are in position now to pursue the things of God as never before. As son or daughter of God, you have to be ready for the Revolution. In the revolution, things have to change and that which does not change will be left behind. The change is going to be sudden, momentous, but complete.

This is the time in which you will finally live as a Total Person of Purpose. You will not be just a tenth, a third, or a half of what the Lord has destined you to be, but you will be the complete and total package. Nothing can be complete or even the total of its entirety until there is a revolution. In order to walk into the new and total you; you must first revolt against your past. You have to turn away from it, rebel against its stronghold, and protest against its present influences in your life.

A Revolution gives light and a future perspective. You cannot live in the new light of your future through the eyesight and perspective of the darkness of your past. When you revolt, rebel, protest, and turn away from your past, then you are able to walk in the new light of your destiny. Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past. "Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert" (Isaiah 43:18-19 NASB).

Leap for joy that your mindset has changed in this New Year! 2012 is a year in which the mind has to be focused on moving forward! This a LEAP MIND! A Mind that jumps, rises, and moves suddenly in order to advance! Give your mind, life, soul, and everything else to God this year!

"This is the Maximized You Year Because You Magnified God!"
