“The Joy Of Trouble!”

Joy and Trouble are Oxymorons! That is the case in which they are defined separately from one another. When used together by the power of God, they are the twins that birth forth blessings that you can't even imagine. You will never have pure joy until you have experienced extreme trouble. It is like the analogy of really not being able to appreciate sunshine until you have been through a thunderstorm. It takes a storm for you to give praise for the sunshine that comes out of it. You don't know the value of something until it has come out of a storm and trouble. The storm/trouble determines the value of a person or thing!
There will be no joy with untested faith. Your faith will be tested and joy will be produced through your obedience and faithfulness. The test (trouble/storm) of your faith will produce joy- unspeakable joy when you pass the test and remain faithful in faith! There is joy that comes out of trouble!
"The Joy Of Trouble!"

Faith-Patience-Endurance
James 1:2-4
"Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your patience/endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing."

Love and Joy Perfected
John 15:9-11
"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full."
We can have joy that remains and joy that is full which comes from the wellsprings of God's love for us. However, the pre-requisite of this overflowing, everlasting, and sustaining joy is obedience to the Commandments of God.
A commandment is a mandate; it is the act of commanding something. So, what are you called to mandate and command? There are many things, but I want to share with you what I believe the Lord has laid upon my heart as being the 10 ComMANdments. It is amazing that the word command or commandment cannot be spelled without MAN. Therefore, the mandate in the earth cannot be fulfilled without you!

1.      Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul
2.      Love yourself
3.      Love your spouse, give to them, listen to them, and care for them, & honor/respect them
4.      Be a great father/mother, and spend quality time with your children
5.      Embrace your calling and ministry that God has placed in you
6.      WORK! Be a great provider
7.      Press through challenges and hard times
8.      Have a renewed mind daily
9.      Give of yourself for a great cause
10.  LIVE OUT YOUR DREAMS! CHERISH LIFE!

**Now I want you to write out your own 10 ComMANdments for your life

Romans 15:13
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

God is giving you hope in a hopeless situation. He is doing this by filling you with joy and peace and through you still believing that He is who He says he is, and that He can and is able to do what he has said he would do. Not only is God giving you joy, but also the peace that comes from trusting Him. Peace guards our hearts and minds. Peace is what keeps us in the fight of faith. Peace is the reassurance that it will all work for your good. Peace is faith's best friend!

The Testament of what you are going through is simply this: "My Trouble is Growing Me!"

So endure so you can Enjoy! There is a reward to the one who will endure; there is a place of joy after you have been through the worst that life has thrown at you! You are not just enduring the trouble, but you will have joy through your process. That way you are already happy while going through and full of joy when you come out!
