“Daily Benefits”-The Total Purpose of Life Series (Day#3)

Live on Purpose & Purpose Yourself to Live Your God-Ordained Purpose
Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
The only way you can Negate Purpose is to say, "NO!"
God's Purpose vs. Your Plans
God's purpose is to Live for God's Glory… Plans are to live for your glory!
Purpose is God's way… Plans are your way!
Purpose is an inward call that works itself outward for the greater good of all humanity for God's glory!
The meaning of life is God's purpose. You can't exist and have true existence without a purpose. Purpose gives you existence.
Purpose is the hunger of your soul…Plans can't satisfy your soul.
Plans ask, "What is my will in this?"… Purpose asks, "What is God's will in this?"
Without out God, plans are meaningless… Purpose is meaningful!
Plans don't meet your expectations… Purpose exceeds your expectations!
Purpose makes everything and every moment matter. Purpose causes you to live in excellence.
Plans are things you have strive to make happen… Purpose is what has already been created by God to happen.
Plans make you feel embarrassed, ashamed, and inadequate when they don't happen… Purpose reminds you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Plans are limited… Purpose is Limitless!
Stop living for the plan, and live for the Purpose!
Don't have a plan in place of God's purpose. God's purpose always has a plan (how it will be accomplished), but not all of our plans have a purpose. It is better to have a purpose than a plan.
The more plans (selfishness) you have the less purpose you will have. The more purpose (God's Glory) you have, the more peace, prosperity, joy, influence, wisdom, and happiness you will possess!
Purpose says, "I can't die… I was created to Live!" "I will accomplish what I was Created to do. Purpose says, "It is for God's Glory!"
Plans have expiration dates. Plans say, "I made a wrong turn."  Plans say, "I can't make it." Plans say, "I don't know what to do or what I am doing!"
You have to seek after a plan… you don't have to find/seek after a purpose because it is already within you!
Plans are temporary, they end here on earth… Purpose is eternal, it lives forever because it is legacy.
Plans get upset when things don't go according to "plan" … Purpose knows that all things work together for the good.
Plans are stoppable (they are contracts that can be broken)… a Purpose is covenant; the only way you won't fulfill it is to say "NO" to God!
Purpose not so much as what is the "one thing" I am to do, but rather Purpose is in everything you do, you should always do everything with a Purpose.
Purpose Identifies Who You Are
"John Doe" or "Jane Doe"
The unidentified person… This is the name given to a person who is unable to be identified, no matter the reason. The name "John (Jane) Doe" is used as a placeholder name in a legal action, case or discussion for a person, whose true identity is unknown or must be withheld for legal reasons. The name is also used to refer to a corpse or hospital patient whose identity is unknown.
A nameless person is a person with a nameless destiny (purpose). The unidentified person is a person with an unidentified destiny (purpose). The unknown person is a person with an unknown life, dream, and legacy (purpose)!
Don't allow anything in your past, or anything that you are facing now, and especially your future to be named or identified as John (Jane) Doe. John (Jane) Doe is the commonality given to someone, who has not yet stepped into Purpose. A person who is not going forth in Purpose is an unidentified person.
Your destiny and purpose remains unidentified and unfulfilled if you don't know who you are in God. It continues to remain in a corpse state when you after knowing who you are don't act according and do what God has commanded you to do with the life he has given you!
Ecclesiastes 6:3-6 (NLT)
3A man might have a hundred children and live to be very old. But if he finds no satisfaction in life and doesn't even get a decent burial, it would have been better for him to be born dead. His birth would have been meaningless, and he would have ended in darkness. He wouldn't even have had a name, 5and he would never have seen the sun or known of its existence. Yet he would have had more peace than in growing up to be an unhappy man. 6He might live a thousand years twice over but still not find contentment. And since he must die like everyone else—well, what's the use?
*Living Life without God, Meaning, & Purpose is Worst than Never Living at all!
Who are you & what on earth are you here for?
This is the question of Life! You have a destiny and purpose that was predetermined and predestined before you were born. God has a plan, which is defined as God's Purpose for your life.
Destiny is Life! Your Life is not being lived unless you are living out your Destiny!!
Destiny is defined as an event (or a course of events) that will inevitably happen in the future, your overall circumstances or condition in life (including everything that happens to you); inevitable or necessary fate to which a particular person or thing is destined, one's fortune. Destiny is a predetermined course of events considered as something beyond human power or control.
The search of Destiny is that of the search for true significance.  In preparing for your destiny, you have to know what is God and what is just good.  Not everything that you think is good for you is God's best that he has in store.  God gives Destiny, but it is up to us to pursue it.
What are you pursuing in your life right now, is it God ordained or is it just good to you right now?
The difference between living a plan versus living out your God-ordained Purpose & Destiny is just a matter of you saying, YES! Yes unlocks the door to your purpose and destiny. Yes, says I will no matter what. This is not a conditional yes, but rather an unconditional Yes. Your purpose and destiny is not based upon circumstances, feelings, emotions, economy, etc… but rather it is true and factual when life seems not to agree with it.
When you are frustrated or stagnated in your purpose and destiny, do an inventory, a self-evaluation and see if in this season you have reverted back to your plan (your way, your feelings, your emotions, & your self-centered desires).
When you live life according to your plans and not God's Purpose, you become a "John (Jane) Doe"… therefore, your life's purpose is unidentified, nameless, aimless, unknown, and without a legacy!
Without God, Life has no Purpose!
Wake up every day determined to fulfill God's purpose and not your plan!
Here is today's prayer:
Lord, I am dying to myself so that I can truly live and so that Your Purpose & Plan can Prosper through my Life!

The “Daily Benefits” Purpose Driven Life Series (Day #2)

Live on Purpose & Purpose Yourself to Live Your God-Ordained Purpose

Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.

Ok! So many of you are saying, “Seriously, I don’t know what to do!” “I don’t know my purpose!” My dear sisters and brothers, you are battling your plan (what you do) vs. Purpose (who & what you are)! You can do something and it not be your purpose, but you cannot be who God has called you to be and it not be your purpose. Purpose is what God has called and graced you to be, purpose is not only or merely what you do. If you don’t know your purpose, then you will not know what to do anyway! Purpose does not confuse or conflict you!

The moment you make purpose all about you and for your glory, then you have tapped out of purpose and have walked in your own plan. You didn’t start or create yourself or your purpose, but God did in all of His omniscience. So, since you didn’t start it, you can’t be the one to direct and finish it, but rather you get in alignment, cooperation, and obedience with God to allow purpose to manifest.

Well, let’s tear down the erroneous belief being perpetuated that purpose is first something that you do. Again, it is going to be hard for you to accept the concept of purpose if you are not first seeking God. Purpose begins and ends with God!

Purpose is about God, but he uses you to further it. So you have to seek God about your purpose…. Ask God the reason for which you exist, the reason you were designed, created, done, made, used, etc. Purpose is an intended or desired result; there must be an end, aim, and goal in order for someone to have a purpose. When God created you, He had an aim and a goal for your life.

Yes, in order for purpose to be fulfilled, you must be Determined, present in the moment, and consistent for purpose to be fulfilled. One must be resolute and willing to do something for God’s glory in order for purpose to be fulfilled. One has to be intentional in order for purpose to manifest.

So, before we discuss “what it is that you should be doing” as it relates to the assignment and call on your life (destiny), we have to deal with the substratum of Purpose-GOD!

What is my Purpose to (for) God? This is the question to answer first and foremost!

You shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind & strength in order to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all that you have, so you may Live in Purpose.

This is the first commandment.

Our purpose to (for) God, why we were created for His glory is found in this scripture. This scripture is comprised of (Deuteronomy 6:5, 10:12, 11:13, 13:3, 30:6; Matthew 22:37; Mark 12:30; Luke 10:27; & John 22:5). It is so important to understand that God is your primary purpose that this scripture text literally appears in the Bible multiple times in the Old & New Testament.

A commandment is a mandate; it is the act of commanding something. So, what are you & your purpose called to mandate and command? It is amazing that the word command or commandment cannot be spelled without MAN. Therefore, the purpose (mandate) on your life in the earth cannot be fulfilled without you.

The First Commandment of My God Ordained Purpose is to:

1. Love God with All My heart, soul, mind, & strength (my Everything)

2. Walk in All His Ways

3. Keep His Commandments

4. Hold Fast to Him

5. Serve Him with All that I have

The Bible declares in Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him.” The scriptures has two parts in defining what a man/woman (purpose) is. First, a man/woman is one who has his/her own image, he/she is unique, an original, and authentic. However, this is not enough to be a Total Man or Woman. Man/Woman did not create himself/herself; therefore, man/woman cannot come to terms with himself by himself. The second aspect of the scripture says, man/woman was created in the image and likeness of God and God himself created him/her. This is Identity (Purpose)!

Before this verse, God used his voice to create everything on earth, but when it came to creating man/woman, He used His hands, His image, and His likeness. To everything else God simply said, “Let there be” and it was. But, when it came to man/woman, He brought forth the Trinity Council and said, “let us make man in our own image” (Genesis 1:26). Again, man/woman was created first as a unique individual, this determined who he/she was, but he/she was made complete and defined in his/her Identity when God finished man/woman in His own image, which declared Whose he/she was. Identity (Purpose) is defined as the sense of self in God. Identity (Purpose) is the collective aspect of the set of characteristics by which a thing is definitively recognizable or known.

You are here (on earth) for God! You were created in His image and in his likeness for His glory. This is the thesis for your purpose. This is the foundation that gives the breath of life to your calling. If you neglect your purpose in God, then you cannot fulfill your calling.

“A person who tries to fulfill a calling without knowing their purpose in God,
Is like a man that goes sailing without a boat.”

Your primary purpose is to glorify God in all things, to worship him and him only! You were created to worship God in all that you do. Worship like purpose is not only a moment, but a lifestyle!

Your purpose and calling will bless people and you, but it is for God. You have to establish that you only have a purpose because of God and for God, and He will in turn allow your calling to be a blessing and an impact in the world. Don’t impact the world and not do it for God or it not be about His glory!

Now to the paramount question, “What is My Purpose in & for God?” This is not answered by what you do, but rather who you have been created to be by the image in which you were created. You are a unique individual whose identity is wrapped in the image and likeness of God. You & your purpose should also be easily recognizable and known because you carry and walk in the characteristics of God. A Man/Woman of Purpose is one who knows that they are not a copycat, not an accident, but rather a well thought-out plan and creation of God’s purpose.

I define Purpose as being, “The process by which a person matures into the representation of God’s image, likeness, characteristics, authority, and dominion on the earth.” In essence, I am saying that you become your purpose when you start to represent and look like God. Not look like what you want to look like, or act how you want to act, nor setting your own rules.

“God is My Purpose, My Purpose is God!”

The Daily Benefits Purpose Driven Life Series (Day #1)

Live on Purpose & Purpose Yourself to Live Your God-Ordained Purpose
Proverbs 19:21 (NIV)
Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
In this series, we will discuss at length this great phenomenon in our culture today about living out your purpose. What seems new to today's society, is something that God designed, thought of, and created when He decided to make the world and all who would inhabit it. Purpose is nothing new because it is everything and it is everywhere, and it is in everyone.
Although purpose is our DNA! Literally, there is a spiritual gene within us marked purpose! I find many still don't understand what Purpose really is! Look no further, we are going to explore and exhaust this thing called- Purpose!
Your purpose is what you were created and set apart to do; it is your calling!
First, let me establish two (2) things, a working definition of purpose and the foundational fact that you cannot live out your purpose without God!
Purpose is God ordained. God has already created your purpose within you. When God formed and created you, He placed your purpose inside of you. You cannot create purpose, buy it, copy it, or manipulate it. Yes, you can dream, make plans, have visions, and have great passion, but Purpose is from God and Him alone. If you are unclear of your purpose, then you must seek God in order to get this answer. God is your purpose…and your purpose of life is God! Purpose begins and ends with God. Anything no matter how good done outside of God's intended purpose is all about you and your plan and passion. Plans are good, but it is God's Purpose that will prevail.
What is PURPOSE?
It is defined as the reason for which something or someone exists, the reason they were designed, created, done, made, used, etc. Purpose is an intended or desired result; there must be an end; aim; and goal in order for someone to have a purpose. Determination must be present and consistent in order for purpose to be fulfilled. One must be resolute (willing to do something) for purpose to be fulfilled. One has to be intentional in order for purpose to manifest.
Purpose therefore is something created within you from and by God in order to bring Him glory in the earth. Purpose is your intended God assignment not only in your life, but also in the lives of others. Purpose is not living a life for only yourself. Your purpose must reproduce, multiply, and impact the lives of others for the glory of God.
You must adopt the motto, "Living Life on Purpose," if you are intentional about living a Total Life of Purpose. Purpose is Living Life from the Inside Out.
We are all on the quest and search for more: more meaning, more time, more purpose, and more understanding of this great thing called Life!  The first place to start is with the question, Who is God to me?  It is only when you have defined who God is to you and who you are in relation to God, that you can even begin to search for more and become significant.
You don't choose your purpose--it is already predestined--but you do choose to say Yes!  Your full commitment and a real yes is all that stands in the way of the search for your significance.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will… 8which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself"  (Ephesians 1:3-5, 8-9).
The end of the scripture says that the mystery of the will of life is purposed in God. The Bible is God's Wisdom and love letter to us. It reveals His love, His promises, and even reveals our purpose.
God has purposed the will and destiny of your life in Him.  God is the most fortified place to hold your purpose (life and destiny).
Many of you are searching for purpose amid your current circumstances. For some of you, the situation is so hard right now, you can't even see your way out of it.  I can hear you saying, "How did I get here? I am not supposed to be here."  You have to shift your focus off the circumstances and remember who you are regardless of what is happening around you. If you neglect God and what He has spoken over your life, then purpose will not be able to thrive. Circumstances don't make purpose, they do however give more insight to your purpose. Purpose is purpose (unchanging) no matter what you go through.
Looking or focusing on stuff instead of meaning and purpose is causing us to miss God.
Purpose vs. Tasks: The Purpose is what you are and what you are called to do; the tasks are just what you do.  You are not what you do (the task), but you are purpose, which is who you truly are.  Get Passionate about your purpose; it is not a pastime, but it is your life and destiny.  Your purpose is the reason you exist, and the reason you were created.  Your purpose is what you invest in for your destiny. Definitely have a pastime, but never have a pastime attitude towards your Purpose.  Do not get lax about your purpose.  A pastime is Necessary, but your Purpose is Needed!  Never confuse the two and never give more to the pastime than you do to your Purpose.  Get Passionate about Your Purpose!
Success brings about distractions because it sometimes gives us a false sense that we have arrived, and that what we have accomplished is all that there is.  I want you to know that until the day you leave this earth; there will be work to do and many more things to accomplish. True destiny and purpose outlive death, because they bring forth a Legacy.
How tragic to reach the world's standards, but miss God's purpose.  It is the battle of God's Purpose vs. the American Dream.
Finding your true calling and meaning in life is not necessarily being successful by worldly standards.  A title doesn't design you, you are already designed, divine, and destined (purposed) in God.
Do not succeed at the wrong thing; the greatest tragedy in life is to win at the wrong thing, because in actuality you have lost.
You are a Purpose By Design…You were Designed for a Purpose
Your Life has a God Ordained Purpose!
1 Corinthians 9:24-27
24 Don't you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! 25 All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. 26So I run with purpose (certainty) in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.
Purpose is a process and a daily step of living life in God. It is not one event or one major anything. It is day in and day out achieving what God would have you to do for His glory. Every day is a day of purpose that is weaving a beautiful tapestry, which is your life and destiny.
Today's (Q & A) for a Daily Life Lived Purposefully:
What is the…
1.      The Daily Bread of purpose that I can give to someone else today?
2.      The Daily Dream (passion in my heart) I can achieve today?
3.      The Daily Purpose (calling on my life) I can accomplish today?
*Do you live for your glory or for God's glory?
"Not a purpose that takes big plans, but rather a purpose that takes a big God!"
