Circumstances & Confidence

Job 8:14 (NLT)

Their confidence hangs by a thread. They are leaning on a spider’s web.

When your confidence is based on circumstances then you will collapse!

Job 31:24 (KJV)

If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence.

What you put your faith and hope in is what you place your reliance upon!

Your Confidence is not determined by your wealth, job, riches, money, etc…

Real Confidence is not moved or diminished by circumstances

When we set our heart on worldly things, which in turn means we begin to worship and idolize them and make them our confidence, then we betray God.

Your confidence speaks to where you place your security.

Confidence in God will keep you from sinning

Proverbs 3:26

For the Lord will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught.

Confidence looks at the Opportunity and not the Opposition...Confidence brings Order to Chaos!

The Generational Blessing & Legacy of Confidence

Proverbs 14:26

In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and one’s children will have a place of refuge.

Hebrews 3:6

But Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

Hebrews 3:14

For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.

1 John 2:28

[The Children of God ] And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

Questions that Confidence & Doubt Ask???

Raising the Confidence Level… The Confidence Habit

1. As best you can, stop berating and judging yourself harshly…Stop being a Critic & Complaining!

2. Seek out the company of people you want to emulate. Look for self-confident people to mirror. Watch the way they walk and how they talk. Put yourself in positive environments as much as you can.

3. Be a person who is true to their word. Take action when you make a vow to take action. Follow through on your plans even if it initially looks like there is no way forward. Be A Finisher!

4. DO IT AFRAID: Feel the fear and do it anyway! If you stand up and face that thing that you are most afraid of and do it anyway very often the fear disappears… Fear is the biggest motivator to do nothing… Take the Fear Out of the Fight!

5. KEEP SCORE OF YOUR WINS & NOT YOUR LOSSES… LEARN FROM THE LOSS: Keep a diary of all your achievements no matter how small and don‘t let others ridicule you for it.

Self-confidence is an attitude which allows individuals to have positive yet realistic views of themselves and their situations. Self-confident people trust their own abilities, have a general sense of control in their lives, and believe that within reason, they will be able to do what they wish, plan, and expect!

Having self-confidence does not mean that individuals will be able to do everything. Self-confident people may have expectations that are not realistic. However, even when some of their expectations are not met, they continue to be positive and accept themselves.
